Pricing
No guesswork. One number, agreed before any work begins.
All project work is fixed-price, issued after a diagnostic audit. You will never receive a surprise invoice. Care plans are a flat monthly fee with no hidden extras.
Project Work
£75
per hour
£600
per day
These rates apply to time-based work. Most engagements are not billed this way — they are scoped as fixed-price projects after the diagnostic audit. The rate becomes relevant when I am advising on architecture, reviewing a third-party proposal, or working through something genuinely open-ended.
Every engagement starts with a written brief and a forensic audit. You receive a single fixed price for the complete scope. That number does not change unless the scope does — and only then with your agreement.

Pricing Questions
What people usually want to know.
Do you charge by the hour?
For time-based project work, yes — £75/hour or £600/day. But most projects are priced as a fixed amount after the diagnostic audit, not as a running clock. You will know the total cost before any work begins.
When do you issue a fixed price?
After the diagnostic audit. I do not quote from a brief alone — I need to see the site, the problem, and the environment before I can give you a number I will stand behind. The audit itself is free.
What if the work turns out to be more complex than expected?
I stop. I contact you with a revised scope and a revised price. Nothing changes without your agreement. This is how fixed-price work should operate.
Can I cancel a care plan at any time?
Monthly plans require 30 days' written notice to cancel. Annual plans run to their renewal date. No lock-in beyond the billing period you are in.
Is WooCommerce included in care plans?
Dedicated WooCommerce support — checkout health, order processing oversight, ecommerce-specific monitoring — is included in the Premier plan. Standard WooCommerce updates are covered across all plans.
What does "1 hour developer time" mean on the Professional plan?
One hour of actual development work per month — minor fixes, adjustments, small improvements. It is not support time or consultation time. Unused hours do not roll over.
Ready to discuss your project?
Send me a brief and I will tell you honestly what I can do, how long it will take, and what it will cost — before any work begins.
